Volunteer · 19th Annual Santa's Toy Run
of smiles
Join the crew behind Georgia's biggest toy-drive race weekend.
It takes a whole team to turn a weekend at the track into Christmas morning for hundreds of local kids. Individuals, families, and groups all welcome — no experience needed.
Every smile, every toy, every donation counts. Volunteers are the reason all of it happens.
The experience
One weekend. Hundreds of smiles.
Santa's Toy Run is equal parts sportscar race weekend, car show, and toy drive — and it runs entirely on volunteers. You'll be right in the middle of the action: greeting families at the gate, cheering on drivers, and helping collect the toys, gift cards, and donations that send local kids in shelters a real Christmas.
It's friendly, fast-paced, and genuinely fun. You'll get a quick briefing when you arrive, work shoulder-to-shoulder with a team of leads and returning volunteers, and never get thrown in without support. First-timers are welcome every single year — many come back.
“100% of the money goes directly to kids in shelters — including moms and children in domestic-violence programs. Without this event, many would go without Christmas.”

Where you fit in
Ways to help
Four crews keep the weekend running. Tell us where you'd like to jump in — or just pick “wherever I'm needed,” and we'll place you.
Registration & Guest Services
Be the friendly first face of the event. Welcome guests, help with check-in and armbands, accept toy & gift-card donations, hand out flyers, and point people where they need to go.
Great for first-timers & greetersCar Show Crew
Help the American Street Rodders club park show cars, guide entrants to their spots, and run the armband check for the lunchtime parade laps out on the racetrack. High-energy and hands-on.
Great for car loversRaffle Team
The most social role. Chat with guests, share the mission, and sell raffle tickets for a prize haul worth over $10,000 — race tires, an e-bike, and more. Full coaching provided; just bring a smile.
Great for outgoing folksPavilion & Lunch Crew
Help set up and run the pavilion where kids, families, and our charity partners gather over lunch. Warm, welcoming, behind-the-scenes work that's full of heart.

When we need you
Save the weekend
Setup and early registration. A calmer start — and a great time to learn the ropes before things pick up Friday afternoon.
Car show, track parade laps, the raffle, and lunch in the pavilion. All hands on deck, especially through the busy morning.
Final registration and a warm wind-down as the last guests roll through and the weekend comes to a close.
Shifts are flexible. Sign up for a few hours or the whole weekend — we'll confirm exact times with you closer to the event and make sure you know exactly where to be.
Bring your people
Groups & individuals both welcome
Come solo and make new friends, or bring your whole crew. We regularly host car clubs, churches, scout troops, businesses, and families — and we'll do our best to schedule your group together.
Earning service hours?
Students can earn community-service hours with us — just let us know on the form and we'll sign off. Volunteers under 18 are welcome with a parent or guardian's signed waiver.
Good to know
Before you arrive
No experience needed. We'll train you with a short briefing before your shift.
Volunteers get in free. Your time is your admission for the weekend.
Everyone signs a waiver on arrival (NASA & Road Atlanta). Under-18s need a guardian's signature.
Dress for the track in December. It's outdoors — layer up and wear closed-toe shoes.
Food & a front-row view. Refreshments, a fun team, and the racing right there.
Family-friendly all weekend. Bring the kids — there's a job for every age.
