My name is Ron Rigdon, my wife, Michele Rigdon and I serve as the Executive Directors for Santa's Toy Run (STR).
For over 18 years, STR has partnered with the National Auto Sports Association – Southeast sports car racing, to host a toy drive and fundraiser at Road Atlanta – Michelin Raceway in Braselton, GA, during the first weekend of December. Our mission is to provide toys for homeless children and raise funds for reputable nonprofit organizations in our community that offer essential care and shelter.
Among our local beneficiaries are esteemed organizations like Gwinnett & Fulton PADV, Gateway Domestic Violence Center, Peace Place Domestic Violence Shelter, A Friend’s House group foster home, Salvation Army Red Shield Services, and the VFW National Home. Each of these nonprofits is a 501c3 entity, and every organization goes through a rigorous grant review process to ensure that they are properly qualified to receive donations. This process gives our donors peace of mind, knowing that their contributions are being used effectively to benefit those in need.
It is our personal goal to protect the integrity of every donation, whether it’s a $25 toy or a $10,000 contribution. We ensure that 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes directly to the shelter of your choice, with no third parties siphoning away any funds.
Many of the children we help would have to go without presents for Christmas if it weren’t for the generosity of STR’s efforts and our compassionate donors. Your contribution can make a tremendous difference in bringing joy to children who otherwise face hardship during the holiday season.
